Several pilots called air traffic control in West Ireland to ask what he calls “very bright light” traveling at “very high speeds,” according to a record published by the AirLive Airline website.
“It was so fast,” said the pilot from British Airways from Montreal to London. “It was coming from our left side, and then it quickly set off to the north, a very bright light that disappeared at a very high speed.”
There is nothing on the primary or secondary [radar], “says air traffic control, adding that there are no military exercises in the area.
Another pilot from the plane of the Virgin was then shattered, denting the hope of foreigners: he suggested it could be “a meteor or other object to do some kind of re-entry

He recorded “more objects that followed the same trajectory – very clear from where we were.” He saw “two bright lights that seemed to be moving to the right, and at least from our perspective they were going up in speed,” according to the call recording.
The third pilot added, “I’m glad it was not me.”
A spokeswoman for the Irish Aviation Authority has confirmed that TIME is investigating an incident, saying the confidential process would include an interview with all the pilots involved.
