The 5.4 magnitude earthquake hit southeast Iran: state media

The magnitude 5.4 of the earthquake was reached on Wednesday, according to media in south-east Iran.

The epic episode was about 14 km (9 miles) from the town of Kahneni in the Kerman region, state media reported.

Direct reports on death, injury or property damage. The second part of the Red Six local team was sent, the media said.

An earthquake of 4.9 rocked the same area for a few minutes after the first earthquake.
