Om puri passed away because of heart attack

Veteran actor Om Puri died after a heart attack early Friday morning. The actor was 66. Friends and colleagues from Bollywood Om Puri reach Andheri residence to pay their last respects to the actor. Puri body was taken to the hospital to perform autopsy Cooper, following the funeral will take place.

Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit – a close friend of Puri – said, “Omji suffered a full-scale heart attack this morning today. We just got home.”

Actress Shabana Azmi share more information through a tweet. He notes, “Om Puri underwent autopsy at Cooper Hospital.Will taken to Trishul about 3:00 am crematorium electric funeral in Oshiwara around 6:00.”

He also took to Twitter to share the news, “sad and shocked to learn that versatile actor Om Puri jee has expired due to a heart attack this morning.

The actress has appeared in general Bollywood movies, as well as Pakistan, British and Hollywood films. The actor received the OBE and Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian award. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mourned his death. “The Prime Minister condoles the deceased actor Om Puri and recalls his long career in theater and film,” The PMO India tweeted.

Puri’s friends in Bollywood were shocked by his death. Mahesh Bhatt tweeted: Goodbye OM! Part of me was with you today. How can I forget the passionate night we spend together talking about cinema and living?
