Two people were killed after a horror accident involving a car that goes wrong after the M62 at Bradford.
The man was arrested for suspicion of dangerous driving after a two-hour break on the western road early in the morning.
The path remains closed between joints 27 and 26.
The West Yorkshire police said they were summoned at 2.34 am when they reported that the car was wrong on the highway.
They were called again shortly afterwards and said there had been a fall of two vehicles, the spokesman added.
“The officers responded and found two vehicles. Two men in one of the wagons, white Škoda, were declared dead dead.
“A man who is considered to be the driver of a second car that is a black Vauxhall Insignia has been arrested for causing death by dangerous driving.
“He also failed a breath test on the road. The main road collision team is continuing the investigation.”
Force claimed that the two men killed in the crash were 34 and 37 and that a 22-year-old man who was arrested is currently being questioned by officers.
