The Kensington Palace said on Monday that the Duchess of Cambridge had given birth to her third child, a boy weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces.
The Palace says the child was born at 11:01 AM local time, hours after the Duchess, former Kate Middleton, was admitted to London’s St. Petersburg Hospital. Mary’s Hospital.

Prince William was present at the birth of his son, who is fifth in line with the throne.
The palace declared that “the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry, and the members of both families were informed and enthusiastic about the news.”
The couple who got married in 2011 have two more children: Prince George, 4 and 2-year-old Princess Charlotte. Both were born in the same hospital, just like William and his younger brother, Harry.
