The helicopter collided with the New York East River on Sunday night and turned on the water and killed all five passengers, officials said.
A NYPD spokeswoman confirmed the Associated Press died Monday morning.
The video from the viewer and presented on Twitter showed a hard water helicopter red water and then fell, a bomb hit the water.
A helicopter, a private charter for photos, fell at Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s house. One man, the pilot, freed himself and saved the tugboat, officials said.
Police and firefighters took passengers who had to release them in tight suits when they appeared, said Fire Safety Commissioner Daniel Nigro.
“It takes a bit for drivers to get these people, they work fast as fast as possible,” Nigro said. “It’s a great tragedy we have here.”
Witnesses at the Esplanade on the beach where the plane landed said the helicopter flew high when it suddenly fell into the water and went quickly through the water. But the pilot appeared on the surface holding a floating body like a tug boat and approaching a police boat

Celia Skyvaril (23) told the Daily News that she saw a man who looked like a yellow sign or rested and shouted for help.
News reports show that a victim was placed in an ambulance when an emergency agent gave her chest pressure.
Susan Larkin, a spectator, told the Associated Press she would come down to watch the rescue boat in the river and the police helicopter rolled her head and lowered the water.
“You can clearly see what they are looking at,” he said.
A spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration said the Eurocopter AS350 crashed after 19:00. The aircraft is owned by Liberty Helicopters, which offers a personal organizer and a popular tourist. Phone messages in the company are not returned immediately.

The Manhattan helicopter trip collided with the Hudson River in July 2007 and shook eight people aboard, but no one was injured. In June 2005, two helicopters crashed into the East River in the same week. One injured eight people, including several bank heads. Others hit the water immediately after a great flight, where six tourists and a pilot were injured.
Nigro and Police Commissioner James O’Neill said the Sunday rescue operation took place at a depth of about 4 meters of water up to about 15 meters in the twilight.
The cause of the accident is unknown. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Council are investigating.
The staff did not immediately report the names of the pilots or passengers or told them how the two passengers died.
