The process begins when the patient is cared for and the professional that assists it requires an interconsultation with a specialist, at which time the new internal system of telephone shifts is implemented.

In addition, this procedure allows that, in case of corresponding follow-up of the care of a hospital patient or that he / she enters through it, he / she can be granted a shift (also by phone) with the general practitioner of the CAPS closest to his / Or your HR.

For the implementation of this new internal system, new telephone lines were enabled to improve communication between the CAPS, the HRs and the admission of the Trelew hospital.

Specialties enabled

The specialties currently enabled at the Trelew Hospital run by Jorge Vecchio are: Cardiology, General Surgery, Medical Clinic, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Adult Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Pediatric Neurology (Pediatric Clinic), Proctology, Urology, Traumatology and Orthopedics.

In this first stage of the new procedure, the Ophthalmology and Mental Health Services and medical specialties of the Maternal and Child Center and the Ex Ados are not qualified to provide telephone shifts.
